THE EXCITEMENT OF MATCH DAY II

It was a double round of play today Saturday 10th August. As the fan enjoyed the honour of watching the Quarter & Semi final where the two host teams AKOKA STAR FC & AKOKA UNITED FC were knocked out of the tournament in the semi final and the 2 foreign teams, I.J.B FC of Oshodi and ELITES FC of Ebute metta would be playing the final game on Monday, August 12, 2019.

The expectation of the organizers and the spectators were met at the display of the teams in match day two. The intensity, passion, skills displayed and the excitement of all to complement match day one. The opening game ushered  Akoka Stars FC into the semi-final, as they come from behind to get two goals within 2 minutes at the end of the game to win 2-1 against Golden Star FC Akoka. The tone of anything is possible in the game of football was set from the very first game.

The third place and final match comes up on Monday the 12th of August and it has been promised with the honour of the visit of state and federal dignitaries, such as Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo SAN, GCON, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Nigeria, Honorable Ade Ipaye and a host of others are expected to grace the closing ceremony at Federal College Education {Technical}
